FROM MALPENSA AIRPORT: Leaving the airport – Follow the green signs for Milan – After about 14 km, take the A8 exit, always in the direction of Milan (green signs) – Exit the A8 towards the A9 in the direction of Como/Chiasso – Exit Como/Chiasso After the COMO SUD tollbooth – Follow the signs for CENTRO – From the center of Como, follow the signs for Bellagio, follow the road that runs along the lake for 35 km until Bellagio (the lake will be on the left hand side) .
FROM LINATE AIRPORT.Leaving the airport – Follow the signs for Milan along four wide avenues, keep to the right – Exit for Vimercate/Lecco/Venezia/Tangenziale Est – Follow the road for about 15 minutes – at the tollbooth follow the signs directions to Lecco – Continue Go straight ahead following the main road towards Lecco – do not cross the bridge towards Lecco – At the roundabout take the second exit towards Bellagio – Follow the road along the lake for 21 km to Bellagio (the lake will be on your right).

• BY PRIVATE TRAINER:
IMPORTANT Please note that the road from Como to Bellagio (32 km) is not wide enough for large buses (more than 16 seats). There are four different solutions to reach Bellagio with larger vehicles, depending on your origin:
FROM LECO:
1) Lecco – Bellagio 22 km. On the shores of the lake. Road not very big, but accessible for larger vehicles.
2) Lecco – Varenna from where you can take a ferry by car (bus and/or passengers only or boat (passengers only)) to Bellagio. You don't need the bus to tour Bellagio.
OF HOW:
Como – Tremezzo 20 km from where you can cross by boat or hydrofoil (passengers only) or Cadenabbia 21 km from where you can cross by ferry (bus and/or passengers only) or by boat (passengers only) to Bellagio. FROM COMO and LECCO:
3) Arrive in Erba and then continue towards Asso, Magreglio, Civenna and Bellagio (Erba – Bellagio 25 km). It is a panoramic road that crosses the mountainous area of Bellagio.

The Bellagio bus parks are located on the shores of the lake, just after the entrance to Villa Melzi, just a 3-minute walk from the center. There are public restrooms nearby.

The first/last bus/ferry times and their frequency as indicated below should be considered as a guide only and we strongly recommend checking all links provided for up-to-date timetables.
FROM MALPENSA AIRPORT:
FIRST OPTION: Train to Como
Stage 1 – Milan Malpensa / Saronno
“Malpensa Express” is a train that leaves from Malpensa Terminal 1 (lower floor/arrivals area) to Saronno. Buy your ticket to Como Laghi/Lago.
The first train leaves at 6:53 a.m. m., always consult. The last train leaves at 9:53 p.m. m.
Frequency: approximately every two hours
Travel time from Malpensa to Saronno: 35 minutes
Ticket cost: about €8 per person from the airport to Como
Stage 2 – Saronno / Como
Change train at SARONNO and wait for the train to Como.
The first train leaves at: 6:04 am, always check. The last train leaves at: 9:34 pm.
Frequency: train connection to Como every 30 minutes
Travel time from Saronno to Como: 20 minutes
Stage 3 – Como / Bellagio
There are different travel options to get to Bellagio from the Como Laghi train station:
A) Bus (easier and cheaper)
Buses leave from the bus station located opposite the train station. Tickets at the bus station box office.
The first bus leaves at 6:25 a.m. m. (check often) The last bus leaves at 8:14 p.m. m.
Frequency: approximately every two hours
Travel time to Bellagio: 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Ticket cost: around €3.60
The Bellagio bus stop is near the post office, opposite the ferry dock.
B) Boat or Hydrofoil: (the hydrofoil is the fastest)
5 minute walk to the lakefront and boat ticket office (cross the road towards the lake in front of the station and turn left). Tickets will be purchased prior to boarding.
First hydrofoil to Bellagio: 7:33 a.m. m. (check back often) Last hydrofoil to Bellagio: 7:10 p.m. m.
Frequency: Every two hours – more frequent at lunchtime and early evening
Travel time: 40 minutes
Ticket cost: around €9.50 per person.
First boat to Bellagio: 9:20 a.m. m. (check back often) Last boat to Bellagio: 3:10 p.m. m.
Frequency: infrequent service
Travel time: 2 hours
Ticket cost: around €7.50 per person.
Remember that you can always book a taxi in Bellagio that will meet you at the arrivals platform of the station.
Second option: bus from Malpensa airport to Como
SPT Como buses depart from the airport terminal for Como.
Tickets must be purchased at the Aeroporto 2000 counter, inside Terminal 1, Arrivals Hall. Tickets can be reserved in advance through the website.
Exit through gate 4 of the airport and cross the street.
The bus leaves from stop number 13.
First bus to Como: 8:30 a.m. m. (check back often) Last bus to Como: 7:30 p.m. m.
Frequency: Approx. every two hours
Travel time: Approx. 1 hour
Ticket cost: around €15-20 per person
Stage 3 – Como / Bellagio

From Terminal 1, departure is outside Gate 7.
From Terminal 2, exit through the Arrivals area.

Every day except Sundays.

FROM LINATE AIRPORT:
Step 1–Linate / Milan Central Station:
Starfly bus to Milan Central Station: tickets are purchased inside the airport terminal next to the arrivals area
First bus: 5:40 am Last bus: 9:35 pm
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
Travel time: 30 minutes
Entrance fee: APPROXIMATELY €4
Step 2 – Milan Central Station / Varenna:
The bus stops at Milan Central Station, where train services leave from Varenna (on the east coast, opposite Bellagio). *Note that the final destination of the train is indicated and not the intermediate stops.
For trains to Lecco and Varenna, the final destination is Sondrio or Tirano.
First train: 05:02 always consult Last train: 21:08
Frequency: Trains from Milan to Lecco and Varenna approx. every 2 hours
Travel time: approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes
Ticket cost: APPROXIMATELY €5-6 per person
Stage 3 – Varenna / Bellagio:
From Varenna to Bellagio, exit the station and take a taxi to the pier (cost approx €8) or turn left and walk down the many steps to the road at the end. To avoid steps you can follow the normal road. Turn right until you come to an intersection (there is a bar on the right hand corner). Turn left and cross the street; you are now on the main road. Take an immediate right and head towards the lake. At the end, turn left and you will see the boat ticket office on the right.
You can choose between boats or car ferries from Varenna to Bellagio; both are 15-minute journeys and the only difference is the different point of arrival at Bellagio. The Bellagio ferry and jetty are a 5-minute walk from each other, right in the center of the historic part of town.

FROM BERGAMO ORIO AL SERIO AIRPORT:
Stage 1 – Bergamo Airport / Bergamo Train Station
Buses to the Bergamo train station leave from the arrivals terminal, stop n. 814. The bus (number C1) is not a dedicated airport bus and the stop is a requested bus stop. Tickets must be purchased at the Bergamo tourist office, inside the terminal. The office is open during Italian business hours. The bus stops 200 meters from Bergamo Train Station.
First bus: 7:04 a.m. m. always consult Last bus: 22:12 p.m. m.
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
Travel time: 15/20 minutes
Ticket cost: about €2.50
Stage 2 – Bergamo / Lecco Station
Tickets for Varenna must be purchased at the ticket office and validated in the yellow machines at the end of the platform or next to the ticket office.
First train: 6:05 a.m. m. always consult Last train: 22:26 p.m. m.
Ticket cost: around €4.90
Stage 3 – Lecco / Bellagio
Outside the train station you can take a direct bus to Bellagio. Unfortunately they are not very frequent. Tickets can be purchased at the train station kiosk.

If there is no bus connection follow step No. 4
Stage 4 – Lecco / Varenna
Change trains in Lecco (use the underpass; crossing the tracks is prohibited) and wait for the connecting train to Varenna.

IMPORTANT:
Train tickets should always be purchased before travel. You must stamp your tickets in the yellow machines that are usually at the end of the platform. During the trip, an inspector will check your tickets and if they find you without a ticket or without a stamp, they will fine you.
BY PRIVATE CAR / VANTRANSFER:
We suggest if you will be met at my Bellagio center if you are arriving from airports or train stations.
The fastest and easiest way to get to Bellagio from airports or train stations is by private transfer. Your driver will meet you outside the customs area and transfer you directly to your hotel/apartment.

Milan Malpensa Airport to Bellagio – 1 hour 45 minutes
Milan Linate Airport to Bellagio: 1 hour and 20 minutes
Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport to Bellagio – 2 hours
From Milan Central Station to Bellagio: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
